Manage BlackBerry Proxy clusters

clustersWhen you install the first instance of the
BlackBerry Proxy
, BlackBerry UEM
creates a BlackBerry Proxy
cluster named “First”. If only one cluster exists, additional instances of BlackBerry Proxy
are added to the cluster by default. You can create additional clusters and move BlackBerry Proxy
instances between any of the available clusters. When more than one BlackBerry Proxy
cluster is available, new instances are not added to a cluster by defaulty, they are considered unassigned and must be added to one of the available clusters manually.- In the management console, on the menu bar, clickSettings > BlackBerry Dynamics > Clusters.
- Perform any of the following tasks:TaskStepsCreate a newBlackBerry Proxycluster.
- Click .
- Type a name for the cluster.
- ClickSave.
Rename aBlackBerry Proxycluster.- Click a cluster name.
- Change the cluster name. Each cluster must have a unique name.
- ClickOK.
Move aBlackBerry Proxyinstance to a differentBlackBerry Proxycluster.- In theServerscolumn, click the name of aBlackBerry Proxyinstance.
- In theBlackBerry Proxy clusterdrop-down list, select the cluster that you want to add the instance to.
- ClickSave.
Delete an emptyBlackBerry Proxycluster.- Click for that cluster.
- ClickRemove.
Set app proxy settings for a cluster.- Click the cluster name.
- ClickOverride global settings
Download PAC file updates for all clusters.ClickRefresh PAC cache.Specify a trusted root certificate to download PAC files from the server.- Verify that you have the certificate in X.509 format (*.cer, *.der) stored in a network location that you can access from the management console.
- On the menu bar, clickSettings > External Integration > Trusted certificates.
- Click besidePAC server trusts.
- ClickBrowse.
- Navigate to and select the certificate file that you want to use.
- ClickOpen.
- Type a description for the certificate.
- ClickAdd.
Enable aBlackBerry Proxyto be used for activation (UEMon-premises only).Select theEnabled for activationoption for theBlackBerry Proxyinstance that you want to use for activation purposes. At least one instance must be selected.
