Change whether an app is required or optional
You can change whether an app is required or optional. The actions that occur when an app is set to required or optional depend on the type of app, the device, and the activation type.
- In the management console, do one of the following:
- If you want to change the disposition of an app assigned to a user, on the menu bar, clickUsers.
- If you want to change the disposition of an app assigned to a group, on the menu bar, clickGroups.
- Search for and click the name of the user or group.
- In theAppsorAssigned appsection, click theDispositionof the appropriate app.
- In theDispositiondrop-down list, select the appropriate option.
- ClickSave.
