Configure connections through internal proxy servers
If your organization uses a proxy server for connections between servers inside your network, you may need to configure your
BlackBerry UEM
on-premises environment to:
- Allow theUEM Coreto communicate with the management console if it is installed on a separate computer.
- AllowUEMto communicate with other internal services, such as certification authorities and servers hosting push applications.
Server-side proxy settings do not apply to outbound connections. For information about configuring
UEM
to use a TCP proxy server, see Configuring BlackBerry UEM to send data through a proxy server.- In the management console, on the menu bar, clickSettings > Infrastructure > Server-side proxy.
- Do one of the following:TaskStepsConfigure global proxy settings for most or all of the servers in yourUEMdomain.
- ExpandGlobal server-side proxy settings.
- In theTypedrop-down list, clickPAC ConfigurationorManual Configuration.
- Complete the required fields.
- ClickSave.
Configure proxy settings for one or more servers that are different from the global proxy settings.- Expand the server name.
- In theTypedrop-down list, clickNone,PAC Configuration, orManual Configuration.
- Complete the required fields.
- ClickSave.
