Create an enterprise or super enterprise organization

  1. Log in to the
    System Setup
     organization as a System Administrator.
  2. To access the Organizations Manager, do one of the following:
    1. In the navigation bar, click Settings icon.
    2. On the
      Settings
       screen, in the
      System Setup
       section, click
      Organizations Manager
      .
    Or:
    1. In the navigation bar, click the name of your organization and then click the link with your organization name.
    2. On the
      Organization Hierarchy
       window, click
      Manage Organization Hierarchy
      .
  3. On the
    Organizations Manager
     screen, click
    New
    .
  4. On the
    New Organization
     window, enter the name of the new enterprise or super enterprise organization.
  5. From the
    Type
     pull-down list, select
    Super Enterprise
     or
    Enterprise
    .
  6. From the
    Locale
     pull-down list, select a locale. This locale is inherited by the sub enterprise organizations and suborganizations.
  7. Click
    Save
    .
  8. In the navigation bar, click your username >
    Change Organization
    .
  9. Optionally, on the
    Change Organization
     screen, do any of the following:
    • Click the name of an organization in the
      Name
       column to view the organization hierarchy of that organization.
    • In the search field, enter an organization code, ID, or name, and then click The Search icon or press
      Enter
       on your keyboard to filter the displayed organizations.
    • Click any column header to sort the list of available organizations.
    • From the
      All Organizations
       pull-down list, select
      Super Enterprise
       or
      Enterprise
       to filter the list of organizations.
  10. Click the row for the new enterprise or super enterprise organization.
  11. On the
    Change Organization
     confirmation window, click
    OK
    .
  12. Optionally, configure the organization. For detailed instructions, see "Configure a new organization" in the
    BlackBerry AtHoc
     System Settings and Configuration
     guide.
  13. To create an additional enterprise or super enterprise organization, you can duplicate a peer-level organization. To duplicate the organization, go to the Organizations Manager, select the enterprise or super enterprise organization you created, and click
    Duplicate
    . When a super enterprise organization is duplicated, its organization hierarchy is not duplicated.
