Create an IMAP/POP3 email profile
IMAP/POP3 email profiles to specify how

, macOS
, Android
, and Windows
devices connect to IMAP or POP3 mail servers and synchronize email messages.The required profile settings vary for each device type and depend on the settings that you select.
BlackBerry UEM
sends the email profile to Android
devices, but the user must manually configure the connection to the mail server.- In the management console, on the menu bar, clickPolicies and profiles.
- ClickEmail, calendar and contacts > IMAP/POP3 email.
- Click .
- Type a name and description for the profile.
- In theEmail typefield, select the type of email protocol.
- In theEmail addressfield, perform one of the following actions:
- If the profile is for one user, type the email address of the user.
- If the profile is for multiple users, type%UserEmailAddress%.
- In theIncoming mail settingssection, type the host name or IP address of the mail server for receiving mail.
- If necessary, type the port for receiving mail.
- In theUsernamefield, perform one of the following actions:
- If the profile is for one user, type the username.
- If the profile is for multiple users, type%UserName%.
- In theOutgoing mail settingssection, type the host name or IP address of the mail server for sending mail.
- If necessary, type the port for sending mail.
- If necessary, selectAuthentication required for outgoing mailand specify the credentials used for sending mail.
- Click the tab for each device type in your organization and configure the appropriate values for each profile setting. See the following:
