Create a proxy profile
- On the menu bar, clickPolicies and profiles.
- ClickNetworks and connections > Proxy.
- Click .
- Type a name and description for the proxy profile.
- Click the tab for a device type.
- Perform one of the following tasks:TaskStepsSpecify PAC configuration settings
- In theTypedrop-down list, clickPAC configuration.
- In thePAC URLfield, type the URL for the web server that hosts the PAC file and include the PAC file name (for example, http://www.example.com/PACfile.pac). The PAC file should not be hosted on a server that hostsUEMor any of its components.
Specify manual configuration settings- In theTypedrop-down list, clickManual configuration.
- In theHostfield, type the FQDN or IP address of the proxy server.
- In thePortfield, type the port number of the proxy server.
- If your organization requires that users provide a username and password to connect to the proxy server and the profile is for multiple users, in theUsernamefield, type%UserName%. If the proxy server requires the domain name for authentication, use the format<domain>\<username>.
- Repeat steps 4 to 6 for each device type.
- ClickAdd.
- Associate the proxy profile with aWi-Fi, VPN, or enterprise connectivity profile.
- If you create more than one proxy profile, rank the profiles as necessary. The ranking that you specify applies only if you assign a proxy profile to user groups or device groups. Select a profile and click to move the profile up or down the ranking. ClickSave.
