Administration help

You're already familiar with
BlackBerry UEM
but you need a little help understanding a new feature, doing something you don't do often, or figuring out why something might might work a little differently than you thought it would.
You can click Docs Search icon in the tool bar above to search for something and then narrow the results to your version of UEM, or you can select one of the options below to find help for common administration tasks:

Email con
You can send an email message to one or many users, as long as they have an email address associated with their account.
Deactivate device icon
When you or a user deactivates a device, the connection between the device and the user account in
UEM
is removed. You can deactivate a device by sending a command.
Locate device icon
If you've enabled the location services profile for a user, you can locate
iOS
,
Android
, and
Windows 10 Mobile
devices.
Send device commands icon
You can send commands to devices, for example to lock or unlock a device, delete work data, or get and view a device report. The commands available depend on the device OS.
BlackBerry Dynamics apps icon
In some situations, you may need to manually provide access keys for users to use
BlackBerry Dynamics
apps. Users can also generate access keys in
BlackBerry UEM Self-Service
.
Block apps icon
The level of control you have over the apps installed on
iOS
and
Android
devices depends on the activation type. Only system apps and apps that you specifically allow can be installed on supervised
iOS
devices and in the work profile on
Android Enterprise
devices.

IT Policy rules are documented in a searchable and sortable spreadsheet that you can download.
