Cloud setup and configuration

Congratulations! You've started a free trial or purchased
BlackBerry UEM Cloud
and now you need to get up and running.
BlackBerry
has several resources to help you get started.
You should already have everything you need to get started, but if you think you're missing something, visit myAccount or contact your
BlackBerry
 representative.
Follow the links below to find the information you need to get started:
Getting started icon
The Administration content includes a step-by-step list of everything you need to do to set up
UEM Cloud
from start to finish with links to all of the necessary instructions.
Installation icon
The first thing you should do is install the
BlackBerry Connectivity Node
. The
BlackBerry Connectivity Node
isn't required for basic UEM functionality, but you'll gain access to many more features when you do install it. The
BlackBerry Connectivity Node
 is required to connect
UEM Cloud
to your on-premises company directory, and allow
UEM Cloud
to help secure communications between apps on devices and internal resources behind your firewall.
Configuration icon
The
BlackBerry UEM Cloud
Configuration Guide contains all of the information you need to complete the initial set-up and get
UEM Cloud
communicating with other resources in your network. The Configuration Guide also includes information about migrating users and devices from an on-premises
UEM
 installation to
UEM Cloud
.

After you've completed the initial configuration, you need to set up policies and profiles to manage users and devices. The most important features to set up are included in the Steps to get started. Help for all features is available on the Administration page.
