Server access- AMicrosoft Office Web AppsorOffice OnlineServer is installed and configured in your environment.
- Verify that you have theMicrosoft Office Web AppsorOffice OnlineServer URL, and custom port if required.BEMSautomatically adds '/hosting/discovery' to the web address whenBEMSperforms a service discovery and adding it to the web address is not required.
- Add a registry key to enable strong cryptography on the Office Online Server. If this key is not added to the registry, users can't view or editMicrosoft Office Web AppsorOffice OnlineServer files inBlackBerry Accessand theOffice OnlineServer log files log the error messageCould not create SSL/TLS secure channel. For instructions, see the Known issues section of the BEMS Release Notes content.
- In theBlackBerry Enterprise Mobility Server Dashboard, underBlackBerry Services Configuration, clickDocs.
- ClickSettings.
- UnderOffice Web App Server, in theOffice Web App Server URLfield, type the web address of theMicrosoft Office Web AppsorOffice OnlineServer. For example, https://officewebapps.example.com or https://officewebapps.example.com:1234 if a custom port is used.
- ClickSave.
- On theOffice Web App Serverserver, in theWindowsfolder, copyMicrosoft.CobaltCore.dllfile. By default, the file is located in<.drive>:\Windows\Microsoft.Net\assembly\GAC_MSIL\Microsoft.CobaltCore\
- On theBEMS, browser to and paste the file into the lib folder at<.drive>:\Program Files\BlackBerry\BlackBerry Enterprise Mobility Server\Good Server Distribution\gems-quickstart-<version>\lib
- Restart theGood Technology Common Servicesservice.
- OnBEMS, export the SSL certificate to a file.
- In theBlackBerry Enterprise Mobility Server Dashboard, underBEMS System Settings, clickSSL Certificate.
- ClickDownload SSL Certificate. By default, theBemsCert.cerfile is saved to the Downloads folder.
- On theOffice Web App Serverserver, add the SSL certificate to the Trusted Root CA of the computer account.
- Open theMicrosoftManagement Console.
- ClickFile > Add/Remove Snap-in.
- In theAvailable snap-inscolumn, clickCertificates > Add.
- SelectComputer account. ClickNext.
- SelectLocal Computer. ClickFinish.
- ClickOK.
- In theMicrosoftManagement Console, expandCertificates (Local Computer).
- Right-clickTrusted Root Certificate Authorities. SelectAll Tasks.
- ClickImport.
- In theCertificate Import Wizard, clickNext.
- Browse to the SSL certificate file you exported in step 8.
- Obtain theMicrosoft Office Web AppsorOffice OnlineServer SSL certificate.
- Add theMicrosoft Office Web AppsorOffice OnlineServer SSL certificate toBEMS. For instructions, see Importing CA Certificates for BEMS" in the BEMS-Core Configuration content.
- Repeat steps 8 to 11 for eachBEMSserver in your environment.
