Data flow: Sending documents between
Microsoft Intune
-managed apps and
BlackBerry Dynamics
 apps using the
BlackBerry BRIDGE
 app

This data flow shows how to share documents that are created in supported
Intune
-managed apps and
BlackBerry Dynamics
 apps on
Android
 and
iOS
 devices when the
BRIDGE
 app is installed. In this example, a user creates a new file in
Microsoft Word
 and sends the file to the manager for review.
Data flow: Using the BRIDGE app
  1. The user performs the following actions:
    • Creates a file in
      Microsoft Word
      .
    • Saves a copy of the file in an
      Intune
       protected area of the
      Intune
      -managed app.
  2. The device sends a copy of the file to the
    BRIDGE
     app over the
    Intune
     protected channel.
  3. The user selects to Send Email.
  4. If the
    Microsoft Intune
     app protection policy profile allows it, the
    BRIDGE
     app sends a copy of the file to
    BlackBerry Work
     using the AppKinetics Transfer File service through secured channels to attach to an email (or to save to the Local
    Docs
     folder or an Enterprise remote
    Docs
     location). The
    BRIDGE
     app deletes the copy of the file within the
    BRIDGE
     app after the file transfer is complete.
