Open a pop-up widget
With pop-up widgets, you can quickly open a widget for an app
without adding the widget to your home screen, helping you save space on your home
screen. If a pop-up widget is available for an app, an indicator (
) appears under the app icon.
) appears under the app icon. - On the home screen, swipe up or down on an app icon.
- If an app has more than one widget, when you first swipe up or down on the app icon, tap a widget to set as the pop-up widget.
To change the pop-up widget for an app,
swipe up or down on an app icon. In the upper-right
corner above the widget, tap >
> Change widget
. Tap another
widget.
