Share a workspace, folder, or file
- To the right of a workspace, folder, or file, tap
> Share workspace / folder / file.
- In the Share with section, tap one of the following:

Users
Do one of the following:- Manually add recipient email addresses: Enter the email addresses of the intended recipients.
- Select contacts from your device's contact list: Tap
and select the contacts that you want to share the file with. Tap Done.
- Optionally, type a message in the Message box.
Existing group
Do one of the following:- Manually add recipient email addresses: In the Add members field, enter the email addresses of the intended recipients. When a user is added to an existing group, they are granted access to all files that the group is permitted to access.
- Optionally, type a message in the Message box.
New group
Type a group name. Optionally, add a group description, group members, and a group message.
Email domain
Type a domain name.
Active directory group
Type a group name.
- To notify users that the workspace or folder has been shared, turn on Notify members.
- Tap Edit.
- In the Role section, tap
and select the desired role. For more information, see Roles.
- In the Permission section, tap
and select the desired access level. For more information, see Permissions.
The Advanced Rights Management permissions set is available for BlackBerry Workspaces Enterprise ES Mode and BlackBerry Workspaces Enterprise ES (Restrict Full Access) Mode only. For more information, contact your administrator.
- In the Expiration section, tap
and select the date and time when the file will no longer be accessible by members.
- Optional: Optionally, display files with a watermark in all workspace viewers, turn on Watermark.
When watermarks are turned on and permissions are set to Full access, watermarks are displayed in Workspaces viewers on all files. When permissions are set to any of the Download protected permissions, and files are downloaded, watermarks only display on PDF files and do not display on Office files opened in their native applications. Watermarks are set according to organizational policy.
- To allow permitted users to post and view comments in the file comments panel, turn on Commenting.
- Tap Share.
