Flag an email

You might want to mark some email messages as important or make them easy to find in a long list. You can add a red flag next to email messages in the list.
Complete one of the following tasks:

Add a flag an open message.

Tap the menu icon > Add flag.

Add a flag to a single message in the message list.

Press and hold the message, then tap the menu icon > Add flag.

Add a flag to multiple messages in the message list.

  1. Press and hold the first message to enable multi-select. If avatars are present, the avatar changes to a checkmark and the message is highlighted. If avatars are not present, the message is highlighted. Select additional messages.
  2. Tap the menu icon > Add flag.
