Edit an image

You can draw on the image or screenshot, add text, add another picutre, or add an emoji to the image.

Draw on an image

  1. In an image, tap the paintbrush icon.
  2. Tap the paintbrush iconagain to choose the size and color of the brush.
  3. Using your finger, draw on the image.

Add text

  1. In an image, tap the edit text icon.
  2. Tap the edit text iconagain to choose the size, style, and color of the text.
  3. Type your text.
To move the text box, touch and hold the center of the text box, and drag it to a new spot. To resize the text box, drag a corner of the text box.

Add a picture or emoji to your image

You can add a picture from your device, or take a new picture with your camera and add it to your image in
BlackBerry Notable
. You can also add an emoji to your image.
  1. In an image, tap the add icon.
  2. Do one of the following:
    • To add a picture from your device, tap the picture icon.
    • To take a new picture and add it to your image, tap the camera icon .
    • To add an emoji, tap the emoji icon .
  3. If necessary, do any of the following:
    • To rotate a picture or emoji, touch and hold the screen with one finger, and drag another finger around the image.
    • To resize an image or emoji, tap the image or emoji and use the pinch gesture.

Crop an image

Once you crop an image, you can't undo or redo changes you made before you cropped the image.
  1. In an image, tap the more actions menu >
    Crop
    .
  2. Touch and hold a corner of the image, and drag your finger to crop it.
  3. Tap the save icon.

Delete an item you added to an image

You can delete a sketch, text box, emoji, or picture that you added to an image in
BlackBerry Notable
.
  1. In an image, tap the delete icon.
  2. Select the type of items that you want to delete.
  3. Tap a sketch, text box, picture, or emoji to delete it.

Undo or redo changes

Once you save an image to
BlackBerry Notable
, you can't undo or redo changes you made before you saved the image.
  1. In an image, do one of the following:
    • To undo a change, tap undo.
    • To redo a change, tap redo.

Delete all items from an image

You can delete all the sketches, text, pictures, and emojis you added to an image.
  1. In an image, tap the more actions menu.
  2. Tap
    Clear image
    .
