Create an image from a screenshot

You can turn on a notification or quick setting that allows you to take a screenshot and edit it in
BlackBerry Notable
, or you can set
BlackBerry Notable
to automatically open every time you take a screenshot.

Take a screenshot using a notification on your device

Once you turn on the notification, you can take a screenshot and open it for editing in
BlackBerry Notable
by tapping the notification.
  1. Tap the more actions menu.
  2. Tap
    Settings
    .
  3. Turn on the
    Show capture notification in notification tray
    switch.
To use the notification to take a screenshot, swipe down from the top of your screen, and tap the
Capture
notification.

Add a quick settings tile to take a screenshot for
BlackBerry Notable

If you don't want a persistent notification on your device, you can turn on a quick settings tile to take a screenshot and open it for editing in
BlackBerry Notable
.
Depending on your device's software version, this feature might not be available.
  1. On the home screen of your device, swipe down from the top of the screen twice using one finger, or once using two fingers.
  2. Tap The edit icon.
  3. Tap and hold the capture icon, and drag it into the quick settings screen.
