An error appears when an administrator attempts to approve a
Workspaces
permission request from the notifications screen. (WSCLIENT-1554)
Workaround
:
Workspaces
administrators can approve permission requests from the Permission Requests screen in the
Android
app.
When trying to create a new workspace on a
Windows
File Share using an invalid domain name, the
Android
app displays an incorrect error message stating "The given path is not recognized. Check the path and try again" instead of an error message indicating that the domain name is invalid. (WSCLIENT-1549)
Workaround
: Ensure that you are using a valid domain name when creating a new workspace on the
Windows
File Share.
When attempting to create a new workspace on the
Android
app with a name longer than 256 characters, no error message is displayed, and the workspace is not created. (WSCLIENT-1545)
Workaround
: Keep workspace names shorter than 256 characters.
When watermark text is set to the large size, the watermark text cuts off the page. (WSCLIENT-1148)
After upgrading the
BlackBerry Dynamics
version of the
BlackBerry Workspaces
app, you are prompted to sign in again. (WSCLIENT-1137)
When you want to add permissions for a user on a file, the user's email address is removed after you select the option to inherit permissions. (WSCLIENT-849)
When an administrator restricts the ability for you to change the permissions when sharing files, you can't share files that cannot be DRM-protected (for example, .zip files). (EPIC-1045)
After you disable the "Sync files only over Wi-Fi" setting, the setting is enabled when you sign out and sign in again. (WSCLIENT-418)
When trying to edit a
Microsoft PowerPoint
(.pptx) file, the keyboard does not appear. (AND-6626)
Workaround
: To display the keyboard, long-press and select Edit Text.
When a user tries to save a
Microsoft Office
document and taps Create new folder, a "Failed to create folder" error displays. (AND-5997)
Workaround
: Save the document to an existing folder, then create a new folder and move the document into the new folder.
When a user tries to upload a large file, a "Connection error" message might display. (AND-5930)
Workaround
: Try to upload the file again or use the
BlackBerry Workspaces
web application to upload the file.
