Create a CalDAV profile

profileVerify that the device can access an active
CalDAV
server.- In the management console, on the menu bar, clickPolicies and profiles.
- ClickEmail, calendar and contacts > CalDAV.
- Click
. - Type a name and description for the profile.
- Type the server address for the profile. This is the FQDN of the computer that hosts the calendar application.
- In theUsernamefield, perform one of the following actions:
- If the profile is for one user, type the username.
- If the profile is for multiple users, type%UserName%.
- If required, enter the port for theCalDAVserver.
- If required, select theUse SSLcheck box and enter the URL for the SSL server.
- Optionally, if you want to specify a per-account VPN for calendar data, do one of the following:
- If you want to useBlackBerry Secure Connect Plus, select theEnable BlackBerry Secure Connectivity as the per-account VPNcheck box. The device will use its assigned enterprise connectivity profile for secure connections. The default enterprise connectivity profile is assigned if no other enterprise connectivity profile was assigned previously. The enterprise connectivity profile that is assigned at the user level will be used for the per-account VPN, and will take precedence over any enterprise connectivity profiles assigned at the app level. If device-wide VPN is enabled in the enterprise connectivity profile that is assigned to a user, the "Enable Blackberry Secure Connectivity as the per-account VPN" setting has no effect. Before you enable this setting in a profile, set the Per-account VPN setting to None to remove any assigned per-account VPN.
- If you want to use a VPN profile, in thePer-account VPNdrop-down list, select the appropriate VPN profile.
- ClickAdd.
Assign the profile to users, user groups, or device groups.
