- Device and work profile password requirements: When users upgrade theBlackBerry UEM Clientto version 12.44.0.157981 and later, if the device and work profile passwords do not meet the requirements set by an administrator in the IT policy, users will be prompted to set the device and work profile passwords according to the IT policy rules.The followingAndroidpassword IT policy rules are enforced on the device:
- TheAndroidGlobal Password complexity IT policy rule now applies only to devices withAndroidOS 12 or later with a user privacy activation type (Android EnterpriseandAndroid Management).
- TheAndroidGlobal Password requirements IT policy rule now applies to full control and work space only activation types (Android EnterpriseandAndroid Management), and to user privacy activation types (Android EnterpriseandAndroid Management) on devices withAndroid11 only.
- The Password complexity IT policy rule in theAndroidWork profile section is no longer applicable as ofUEM Clientversion 12.44.x.
