This capacity calculator provides an estimate of the hardware that is required to support a given workload for BlackBerry Enterprise Mobility Server. The outputs include a steady-state result, which is the resource usage averaged across the period with the heaviest workload. Instantaneous peaks may be higher than what the capacity calculator reports. The number of devices and workloads in the domain are always assumed to be evenly distributed over multiple, identical standalone server instances. To determine the memory and disk space requirements for BlackBerry Enterprise Mobility Server, you must consider the number of devices that you plan to activate, the types of connections that the devices use, and the level and type of user activity on the devices.
