UEM compatibility: Microsoft SQL Server
For local Microsoft SQL Server implementations, use a 64-bit database server. For remote Microsoft SQL Server implementations, you can use a 32-bit or 64-bit database server.
BlackBerry UEM 12.23 and later supports Microsoft SQL Server 2019 and later on Linux.
As of UEM version 12.24, the UEM setup application no longer installs SQL Server Express 2022 if a version of SQL Server is not present on the computer. You must install a supported version of SQL Server before you complete the UEM install or upgrade.
