UEM compatibility: Java Runtime Environment
Java SE Runtime Environment (JRE) software is not packaged with UEM, so you must install a compatible JRE on the servers where you will install UEM. Some third party Java vendors may not release a JRE that is separate from their Java Development Kit (JDK). In this case, it is supported to install the JDK for use by UEM.
If your organization is running UEM on-premises version 12.21 or earlier, see KB 141054 for more information about a known issue that impacts BlackBerry Secure Connect Plus when you upgrade to JRE 17.0.18 or later. This issue is resolved in UEM on-premises 12.22.1 QF 5 and 12.23 QF 3.
