Restore a deleted or hidden folder or file
You can restore files that were deleted from the Workspaces or Sent files areas. You can also restore files that were hidden from the Received files list. If a folder was deleted, the folder is automatically restored when restoring the files. You cannot restore files deleted from the Recycle bin or hidden files.
Files that are restored inherit the permissions of its parent directory, which may be different from the permissions that were set before. Make sure that you review the permissions of the files after you restore them.
A workspace administrator can only restore files that were deleted from a workspace.
- Do one of the following:
- Navigate to the Workspaces section and click a workspace.
- Navigate to the Sent files section.
- Navigate to the Received Files section.
- In the management pane on the right side, do one of the following:
- Click Workspace info > Recycle bin.
- Click Hidden files.
- Hover over or select the folder or file that you want to restore and click Restore.
