Manage access for a sent file

Manage permissions for files that you have shared.
  1. In Sent files, tap the menu icon beside the file.
  2. Tap Manage Access.
  3. Tap the menu icon beside the person or group that you want to manage permissions for, and tap Manage Permissions.
  4. To change the access permissions, tap the menu icon in the Permissions area and select the an access level.
  5. To set the time when the file will no longer be accessible by the recipients, tap the menu icon in the Expiration area, and select an expiration date. If you select Specific date, specify the date and time.
  6. To specify whether the file is displayed to recipients with a watermark, turn the Watermark option on or off.
    Note: When watermarks are turned on and permissions are set to Full access, watermarks are displayed in Workspaces viewers on all files. When permissions are set to any of the Download protected permissions, and files are downloaded, watermarks appear only on PDF files and do not display on Office files opened in their native applications. Watermarks are set according to organizational policy.
  7. Optional: To allow permitted users to post and to view comments in the file comments panel, turn on Commenting.
    The comment feature is set by organizational policy.
  8. When you are done, tap the back arrow to return to the Manage Access screen.
To revoke access to a sent file, beside the person or group that you want to revoke permissions, tap the menu icon > Revoke access.
