View your email

When you open BlackBerry Work, your email is automatically synchronized with the email in your work email account. After you open the app, your email continues to synchronize with your device. You can swipe down on the list to force synchronization at any time.
In your email inbox, do any of the following:

Sort messages

Tap Menu icon > Sort by and select one of the following options:
  • Date: When you sort your email by date, you can specify whether the date headers (for example, Today, Yesterday, Last Week) are displayed. In the app settings (Settings > Mail > General), if you enable the "Disable Time Section Headers" option, the date headers will not be displayed.
  • Sender
  • Subject

Order messages

Tap Menu icon > Order and tap Ascending or Descending.

Filter emails by folder.

Tap Hamburger menu icon or swipe from the left edge of the screen. A Folders page is displayed. Tap a folder to display only the email messages in it. "Smart" folders contain VIP, High Priority, Flagged, and Unread email.

Mark an email message as read or unread.

Complete one of the following tasks:
  • To mark an open message as unread, tap Closed mail icon.
  • To mark a message in the message list as read or unread, press and hold the message. Tap Open mail icon to mark the message read. Tap Closed mail icon to mark the message unread.
  • To mark multiple messages in the message list as read, press and hold the first message to enable multi-select. If avatars are present, the avatar changes to a checkmark and the message is highlighted. If avatars are not present, the message is highlighted. Tap additional messages to select or deselect them.
    • If the selected messages are unread, tap Open mail icon to mark the message read.
    • If the selected messages are read, tap Closed mail icon to mark the messages unread.
    • If the messages are a combination of read and unread messages, tap Closed mail icon to mark the messages as unread. You can then tap Open mail icon to mark the messages as read.
