Adding calendars

You can add additional calendars to the app, including calendars that are associated with email accounts and public calendars that you can subscribe to. Some service providers may require you to change your email settings to allow other services to access your calendar.
In BlackBerry Hub+ Calendar, do any of the following:

Add a personal calendar

  1. Tap Menu icon > Add accounts icon.
  2. Tap BlackBerry Hub+ Account.
  3. Enter the email address associated with the calendar.
  4. Tap Next.
  5. Sign in to the account, and then follow the instructions on the screen. You may have to enter your password, or allow permission to access your information.
  6. Choose what content to sync. To sync just your calendar, clear the boxes for contacts, email, and other features.
  7. Tap Next.
  8. Enter an account display name.
  9. Tap Done.

Add a subscribed calendar

You can add subscribed calendars to BlackBerry Hub+ Calendar, for example, calendars for holidays, sports, or movies. If you have a link to the calendar, simply tap the link and complete the instructions on the screen. If you don’t have a link to the calendar, make sure that you have the server address for the calendar in iCalShare (ICS) format.

  1. Tap Menu icon > Add accounts icon.
  2. Tap BlackBerry Subscribed Calendar.
  3. Enter the server address.
  4. Tap Next.
  5. Configure your options.
  6. Tap Next.
  7. Enter an account display name.
  8. Tap Done.

Only the owner can change events in a public calendar. When the owner changes events, the changes are synced to your device.

Add a calendar from your CalDAV server

  1. Tap Menu icon > Add accounts icon.
  2. Tap BlackBerry CalDAV Account.
  3. Enter the email address associated with the calendar.
  4. Tap Next.
  5. Sign in to the account, and then follow the instructions on the screen. You may have to enter your password, or allow permission to access your information.
  6. If prompted to change your settings, tap Edit settings.
  7. Set your account options.
  8. Tap Next.
  9. Enter an account display name.
  10. Tap Done.
