Create a local group
- in the BlackBerry UEM console, on the menu bar, clickGroups.
- Click .
- Type a name for the user group.
- Optionally, type a description for the user group.
- To assign a user role to the local group, perform the following actions:
- In theUser rolesection, click .
- In the drop-down list, click the name of the user role that you want to assign to the group.
- ClickAdd.
- To assign the profiles that you created to the local group, perform the following actions:
- In theIT policy and profilessection, click .
- Click a profile type.
- In the drop-down list, click the name of the profile that you want to assign to the group.
- ClickAssign.
- To assign the BlackBerry Access app to the user group, in theAssigned appssection, click .
- Search for the app.
- In the search results, select the app.
- ClickNext.
- In theDispositiondrop-down list for the app, perform one of the following actions:
- To install the app automatically on devices, and to prevent users from removing the app, selectRequired.
- To permit users to install and remove the app, selectOptional.If the same app is assigned to a user account and to the user group that the user belongs to, the disposition of the app assigned to the user account takes precedence.
- In theApp configurationdrop-down list, select the app configuration that you created for BlackBerry Access.
- ClickAssign.
- When you are finished specifying the user group properties, clickAdd.
