Install .apk files

If your administrator allows, you can use
BlackBerry Access
 to download and install .apk files.
BlackBerry Access
 expects the MIME type from the server from which you are downloading the APK file to be: application/vnd.android.package-archive. Other MIME types might not work as expected.
  1. In the
    Android
     device settings, perform the following tasks:
    1. Tap
      Security
      .
    2. Make sure the checkbox beside
      Unknown Sources
       is selected.
  2. In
    BlackBerry Access
    , perform the following tasks:
    1. Download an .apk file.
    2. In the
      Downloads
       folder, find the .apk file that you downloaded.
    3. Tap the file to install it.
