Delete a shape or custom shape layer

You can delete a custom shape layer and delete individual shapes from a custom shape layer.

If you created an attribute when creating a custom or imported shape layer, the attribute and its values must also be deleted if you want to remove them from the BlackBerry AtHoc system.

  1. To delete a custom shape layer, on the Map Settings screen, in the Shape Layers section, click The Edit icon on the row for the shape layer you want to delete. The custom shape layer is deleted immediately. If you decide you do not want to delete this shape layer, click Cancel on the Map Settings screen. Any other changes you have made are not saved.
  2. To delete a shape in a custom shape layer, click The Edit icon in the row for the shape layer.
  3. On the Update Shape Layer dialog, click Edit a Shape.
  4. On the map, select the shape you want to delete and then click The Delete a Shape icon in the Create Custom Locations toolbar.
  5. Click Apply.
  6. On the Update Shape Layer dialog, click Save.
  7. On the Map Settings screen, click Save.
