If you are an Organization Administrator, Enterprise Administrator, or System Administrator, you can view the change history of an alert template. If the alert template has "Inheritable" mode enabled, the Version History button is hidden for organizations that inherit the template.

1. In the navigation bar, click Alerts > Alert Templates.
2. On the Alert Templates screen, use the search field or scroll down in the list to locate the alert template whose change history you want to view.
3. Click the name of the alert template.
4. On the alert template details screen, click Version History.

The Alert Template History window opens, displaying the original and updated values for each changed field, the user who made the change, and the date and time of the change.
