App permissions:
BlackBerry Productivity Tab

Certain permissions are required for the
BlackBerry Productivity Tab
 to function correctly. When you download the app or access certain features, you are prompted to allow access to these permissions. The following table lists the required permissions, and how the
BlackBerry Productivity Tab
 uses each permission.

Calendar
  • Display your calendar events and event details
Contacts
  • Manage your contact accounts in the
    BlackBerry Hub
    , Calendar, and Contacts apps
Phone
  • Display calls that you make and receive in the
    BlackBerry Hub
     and Contacts apps
SMS
  • Display messages that you send and receive in the
    BlackBerry Hub
     and Contacts apps

Change your permission settings

In your device settings, you can turn each permission on or off for a specific app. If you turn off certain permissions, some features of the app might not be available, and the app might not perform as expected.
