Redact sensitive content

  1. Navigate to the screen that you want to redact content from.
  2. From the notifications tray or your device's Quick Settings, turn on Redactor mode.
  3. Drag your finger along the screen to create shapes that hide your sensitive content.
  4. When you are finished redacting, tap The share icon to share a screen shot of your redacted screen.

Redactor mode icons

Icon or indicator
Description
the line redactor shape icon
Draw lines to hide redacted content. Touch and hold the icon to change the line thickness.
the circle redactor shape icon
Draw a circle to hide redacted content.
the rectangle redactor shape icon
Draw a rectangle to hide redacted content.
the undo icon
Undo your last Redactor change. Touch and hold the icon to clear all redaction marks from the screen.
the exit icon
Turn off Redactor mode. Touch and hold the icon to minimize the bar at the bottom of the screen.
