Add users to BlackBerry Workspaces

  1. In the left pane, click Central Management.
  2. Click the Users tab in the right pane.
  3. Click The Add icon.
  4. In the Email field, type the user email address.
  5. In the Aliases field, type any email aliases that are associated with the user, in a comma-delimited list. In BlackBerry Workspaces, the alias is used to associate files with the user. The alias cannot be used to sign in to BlackBerry Workspaces.
You cannot define an alias that has already been defined for another user.
  6. In the User Name field, enter the user name.
  7. In the Enable organization roles section, select the roles that you want the user to have.
  8. To prevent this user from modifying default file sharing and sending permissions, select Disallow user from changing default sharing or sending permissions.
  9. If you want to allow this user to synchronize files to the BlackBerry Workspaces app on their Windows computer, click Enable sync. This setting is available only when the "Enable sync" policy is disabled.
  10. Click Add.
