Update
CylanceHYBRID

The upgrade path for
CylanceHYBRID
 is sequential. For example, if you have version 1.4.1 installed, you must upgrade to 1.4.2, then 1.4.3, and so on, until you upgrade to the latest release. Exceptions to sequential upgrades are:
  • Version 1.4.6 can be upgraded from version 1.4.3 or 1.4.4.
  1. Obtain the
    CylanceHYBRID
     update file from the
    CylanceHYBRID
     Upgrade Packages KB article on the Cylance Support Site. Make sure you can access the
    CylanceHYBRID
     update file from the browser you use to log in to your
    CylanceHYBRID
     console.
  3. Enable
    Maintenance Mode
    . Maintenance Mode must be enabled before you can update the software.
  4. Take a snapshot of your virtual appliance.
  5. For HYBRID Version, click
    Update
    .
  6. Select
    I have taken a VM snapshot
    . Click
    Continue to upload update package
    .
  7. Upload an install package. Either drag-and-drop the install package file into the upload window, or click
    Browse For a File
    , and select the
    CylanceHYBRID
     update file. Click
    Open
    .
  8. Click
    Update
    . The update will take several minutes. During this time, a green bar displays near the top of the web browser. A message displays when the update is complete. Wait for a few more moments while the virtual appliance restarts.
