Set up multifactor authentication for
CylancePERSONA Desktop

You can set up multi-factor authentication with
CylancePERSONA Desktop
for additional protection on your computer from unauthorized users, for example, if it is lost or stolen. When it is set up,
CylancePERSONA Desktop
prompts for the second factor of authentication when reauthentication is required for your computer.
The first factor is your domain password. Depending on your organization's policies, the second factor can be any of the following:
  • A FIDO USB authentication key
  • Duo OTP or another one-time password (OTP) authenticator app on your mobile device
For example, if
CylancePERSONA Desktop
detects unusual behavior on the device, it will lock the device and the lock screen appears. First, you are prompted to reauthenticate using your domain password. Next, you are prompted to reauthenticate using your FIDO key, Duo, or any other OTP authenticator app.
