Upgrading your tenant from network access control policies to ACL rules

You can upgrade your tenant to use the most current control features, such as access control list (ACL) rules and risk assessment policies to manage network access for users in your tenant. After you upgrade the tenant, you cannot downgrade the tenant to use the network access control policies. In the upgraded tenant:
  • ACL rules define what happens when
    CylanceGATEWAY
users attempt to access a destination on the Internet or your private network. You must create ACL rules or all access attempts will be blocked by default. Any network access control policies that were created are deleted and the network access control tab is removed in the user policy.
  • If you had any adaptive response policies configured on your tenant, they will be deleted and replaced by a risk assessment policy. All users are assigned the default risk assessment policy.
