Limit active sessions
You can configure your
BlackBerry Alert
system to limit the number of active sessions a user can have open at the same time with the same user account. Session information is maintained by a user's browser. Multiple tabs on the same browser use the same session. When the active session limit is reached, the user is prompted to close an existing session. The session that has been inactive for the longest time is terminated and the user is redirected to the login page. When the limit active sessions setting is configured on an enterprise organization, it is inherited by each sub organization that does not have this setting defined.
- In the navigation bar, click
.
- In theSystem Setupsection, clickSecurity Policy.
- On theSecurity Policypage, in theLogin Sessionsection, selectLimit Active Sessions.
- Select the number of allowed active sessions from theActive Sessions per User Accountlist. You can select up to ten active sessions.
- ClickSave.
