Manage comments

You can comment on a file to start a discussion about it. You can mention other people in your comments so that they are notified.
  1. In the content area, locate the file that you want to add a comment to.
  2. In the right pane, click Comments.
  3. Do any of the following:

    Add a comment to a file

    If you want to collaborate with another user, you can mention them when you add a comment to a file. When you mention someone, they receive an email notification.
    1. In the New comment field, type a comment.
    2. Type @ and an email address or name to mention someone. Select the email address or name from the list.
    3. Click Post.

    View a comment

    • To view comments on a file when working in the BlackBerry Workspaces Web Application, select a file and click the Comments tab in the right pane.
    • To view comments on a file when working in the online viewer, click The Comments icon
    • When you view comments, type in the search bar to filter comments.

    Reply to a comment

    1. Below the comment that you want to reply to, click the Reply field.
    2. Type your reply. To mention someone, type @ followed by an email address (for example, @johndoe@example.com). Click the email address or name from the list.
    3. Click Reply.

    Edit a comment

    1. Beside the comment that you want to edit, click Menu icon > Edit.
    2. Make the necessary changes, and click Save.

    Delete a comment

    Beside the comment that you want to delete, click Menu icon > Delete.

If someone that you mentioned does not have the necessary permissions to access the file, a workspace administrator receives an email notifying them that you are requesting permissions on their behalf.

If you are the workspace administrator, you can click Give permissions to grant access to the file.
