Create an app registration in Entra

You must create an Entra an app registration that BlackBerry Workspaces can use to authenticate with Entra.
You must have administrator permissions to complete this task.
  1. Sign in to entra.microsoft.com.
  2. In the section for app registrations, add a new registration.
  3. Specify the following and complete the registration:
    1. Type a name for the registration.
    2. Select which account types can use the application or access the API.
  4. Click Register, then copy the Application (client) ID for the app that you created. You use the Application (client) ID in the Azure Tenant ID field when you add the new connector.
  5. In the Manage section, click API permissions.
  6. Add the Sites.FullControl.All application permission. Complete the following steps:
    1. Click Add a permission.
    2. Search for and click SharePoint.
    3. Click Application permissions.
    4. Click expand all.
    5. Search for and select the Sites.FullControl.All check box.
  7. Grant administrator consent for all accounts in your directory.
  8. If your environment uses certificate-based authentication for accessing the app registration, in the section for managing certificates and secrets, upload the public key certificate.
Add a content connector.
