Manage notifications

  1. In the toolbar, tap the main access menu icon.
  2. Tap Notifications.
  3. Do the following:

    Task

    View notifications.

    The number of unread notifications is displayed beside the Notifications menu item.

    Filter notifications.

    1. Tap The menu icon.
    2. Tap Filter by and select a filter.

    Mark notifications as read or unread.

    1. Tap Select all or Select and the select the notifications to mark as read or unread.
    2. Tap the main access menu icon.
    3. Tap Mark as read/unread.

    Delete notifications

    1. Tap Select all or Select and the select the notifications to delete.
    2. Tap the main access menu icon.
    3. Tap Delete.

    View comments

    1. Tap the notification for the comment that you want to view.
    2. Tap View.
    3. Tap the comments icon.
    4. Navigate to the comment that mentions you.

    Reply to comments

    1. Tap the notification for the comment that you want to view.
    2. Tap Reply.
    3. Type a message.
    4. Tap Reply.

    Manage permission requests.

    When you approve a request, the user receives a notification. When you deny a request, no notification is sent.

    1. Tap the notification request.
    2. Tap Approve.
    3. Tap Approve or Deny.
    4. If you tap Approve, do one of the following:

      In the Permissions section, do any of the following:

      • To change the access permissions, tap the menu icon in the Permissions area and select the desired access level.
      • To set a file expiration, when the file will no longer be accessible by the recipients, tap The menu icon in the Expiration area and select the desired time period. If you select Specific date, specify the date and time.
      • To specify whether the file is displayed to recipients with a watermark, turn the Watermark option on or off.

        When watermarks are turned on and permissions are set to Full access, watermarks are displayed in Workspaces viewers on all files. When permissions are set to any of the Download protected permissions, and files are downloaded, watermarks only display on PDF files and do not display on Office files opened in their native applications. Watermarks are set according to organizational policy.

      • To allow permitted users to post and to view comments in the file comments panel, turn on Commenting.

      Add user to an existing group with access to all its files

      1. Tap Select group.
      2. Tap a group name.
