BlackBerry Work for Android known issues

When an encrypted-only S/MIME email message is sent from BlackBerry Work version 3.20 to a device that is running version 3.19, the recipient sees an "Encrypted Message" banner and the body of the email message is encoded instead of decrypted. (BBW-41233)

Workaround: Upgrade BlackBerry Work version 3.19 to version 3.20.

When users summarize multiple emails in quick succession, the summarize feature may stop responding and display the error message: "Unable to generate summary. Please try again." (BBW-41063)

Workaround: Do one of the following:
  • Navigate away from the email, return to the email, and tap Summarize again.
  • Wait a short period of time (for example, one to two minutes) and tap Summarize again.

The email summarization feature occasionally translates non-English emails to English. Some emails in the same language are translated, while others are summarized in their original language. (BBW-40795, BBW-40981)

When an email with a body significantly less than 400 characters is sent to multiple recipients, the summarize feature summarizes the email even though it should display a "This message is too short to summarize" message. This occurs because the character count of the email includes the header fields, such as the To and CC fields. (BBW-40746)

When using the Professional writing tool to rewrite text, the tool occasionally includes a subject line in the rewritten output. (BBW-40709)

When you change a delegate's calendar permission from Owner to Author and then create an event in BlackBerry Work, the loading indicator displays for an extended period before the event creation interface appears. (BBW-38160)
