Note: The 3.20 version of each BlackBerry Dynamics app uses the BlackBerry Dynamics SDK version 15.x. This version of the SDK upgrades the Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) provider to version 140-3, replacing the previous standard of FIPS 140-2. If FIPS is enabled in the BlackBerry Dynamics profiles that are assigned in your UEM environment, you must ensure that any certificates that are used by BlackBerry Dynamics apps are compliant with FIPS 140-3. For more information, including details about the algorithms in FIPS 140-2 that are no longer supported, see the details for the FIPS upgrade in the BlackBerry Dynamics SDK version 15.x Release Notes (iOS or Android). For more information about possible impacts on your UEM environment and how to resolve, see KB 141162.

      • Users can create new folders or navigate to a folder destination in which they want to save a bookmark.
      • The address bar can be moved between the top and bottom of the page. When the address bar is at the bottom of the page and multiple tabs are open, users can tap the search bar to the left and right to navigate to the next or previous tab.

Support for data: URLs

Changes to the app configuration settings

August 2026

iOS: 3.20.0.1775

July 2026

Android: 3.20.0.309

  • A new "Send Feedback Email Address" setting has been added to the General tab, allowing you to specify the email addresses that receive the user feedback. For more information, see BlackBerry Access app configuration settings.
  • The app configuration settings now include a Deprecated tab. You can use this tab to identify app configuration settings that are scheduled for deprecation so that you can update them to avoid potential service interruptions. For more information, see BlackBerry Access app configuration settings.
  • In this release, the "File Transfer Privileges" setting has been deprecated and moved from the Features tab to the Deprecated tab. It will be removed in a future release.
    • Android: On the Features tab, in the "File Handling" section, there is a new setting that specifies whether to allow the transfer of files to third-party native apps on the user's device. You can allow and disallow specific apps by app ID and app share extensions. BlackBerry recommends that you configure this new setting. If both the new and the deprecated File Handling settings are configured, the new setting takes precedence. For more information, see BlackBerry Access app configuration settings.
    • iOS: To avoid file transfer interruptions, BlackBerry recommends using the "Open files unencrypted in other selected non-Dynamics apps" setting in the BlackBerry Dynamics profiles instead. This new BlackBerry Dynamics setting can be used to allow or block the transfer and opening of unencrypted files from BlackBerry Dynamics apps to selected non-BlackBerry Dynamics apps. If both the "Enable exporting to 3rd-party native apps" setting in the app configuration and the "File Transfer Privileges" setting in the BlackBerry Dynamics profile are configured, the app configuration setting takes precedence. When the "Enable exporting to 3rd-party native apps" setting is removed from the app configuration, the BlackBerry Dynamics profile setting applies. For more information, see BlackBerry Dynamics profile settings.
