Installing BlackBerry UEM in a DMZ

You can install BlackBerry UEM in a DMZ, outside of your organization's firewall.

If you install BlackBerry UEM in a DMZ:
  • Verify that you open the required ports on your organization's firewall.
  • Review the Preinstallation and preupgrade requirements, including the required DNS configuration tasks.
  • Manually stop the BlackBerry Proxy service.
