Prepackaged migration prompts

The migration toolkit stores ordered prompts under dynamics-migration-tool/prompts/. Your AI agent will execute them in the sequence below and will call record-prompt-execution.sh after running each prompt so that executedPrompts[] in bootstrap.json stays current.

  • Prompts you for the required GDApplicationID and GDApplicationVersion
  • Captures attestations
  • Creates a Git backup branch (when available)
  • Resolves the BlackBerry Dynamics SDK from Maven
  • Writes bootstrap.json, module-map.json, and processModel

This is the only step of the migration process that collects configuration values (the GDApplicationID and GDApplicationVersion).

  • The record-prompt-execution.sh call at the end of the prompt automatically runs the full validate.sh sweep (including the migration-report contract check) and does not record completion until it passes
