Send files from BlackBerry Connect to other BlackBerry Dynamics apps

You can send only one photo, video, file or link at a time from BlackBerry Connect to another BlackBerry Dynamics app.
  • Verify that you joined the group discussion or are in a chat and downloaded the photos, videos, and files or are in an active chat session.
  • Verify that the file sharing feature is enabled by your administrator.
  • To send files and photos from a chat, verify that you are running BlackBerry Connect 3.5 or later.
  1. Open the downloaded image that you want to send to another BlackBerry Dynamics app.
  2. Tap The Menu icon and complete one of the following actions:

    Save a file
    1. Tap Save.
    2. If necessary, log in to BlackBerry Work.
    3. In the Quick Save Folder dialog box, do one of the following:
      • Tap No to navigate manually to the Local Docs folder.
      • Tap Yes to automatically save future files to a server location (for example, SharePoint).
    4. If you want to save the file locally, tap Local Docs.
    5. If you want to save the file to a server backed location (for example, SharePoint), tap SharePoint.
    6. Beside Save 1 selected items, tap The Checkmark icon.

    Send file as Email
    1. Tap Send file as Email.
    2. If necessary, log in to BlackBerry Work.
    3. Select the file size.
    4. In the email message, enter the necessary information.
    5. Click The Send icon.

    Open in another app
    1. Tap Open In. A list of all BlackBerry Dynamics apps that a file can be sent too is displayed.
    2. Tap the app you want to open the file in.
    3. Follow the onscreen steps.
