Configure data transformation

A data transformation is a custom script that updates user attributes before they are added to BlackBerry AtHoc. If you are not familiar with XSLT, click Generate XSLT or work with your BlackBerry AtHoc professional services representative.

XSLT 3.0 is supported for transformations. Ensure that the Mapping ID and Username attributes are included in your transformation.

  1. Configure data mapping.
  2. Click the Data Transformation section to expand it.
  3. You can do either of the following:
    • Click Generate XSLT to automatically create a transformation script based on your mappings.
Warning: Clicking Generate XSLT removes any script that is already in the XSLT textbox and cannot be undone. You should make a backup of the existing XSLT before proceeding.
    • Manually edit the XSLT script in the text box.
The system validates your XSLT script and displays a Ready The Ready icon or Not Ready The Not Ready icon indicator.
  4. Test your sync configuration.
