Manage access to alert and account folders

The Alert Folders and Account Folders managers centralize alert and account folder configuration and management tasks. You can grant access to alert and account folders to operators in other organizations. You can only grant access to alert and account folders that you have access to.

  1. In the navigation bar, click The Settings icon.
  2. In the Users section, click External Operator Permissions.
  3. On the External Operator Permissions screen, click the name of the operator you want to give access to alert folders to. You can search by username to narrow the list of operators.
  4. On the operator details screen, in the Operator Roles section, select a role that has alert publishing permissions from the Operator Roles list.
  5. Optionally, in the Alert Folders section, select the Unrestricted option beside the Publish/Manage option to grant access to all alert folders in the organization.
  6. Optionally, in the Alert Folders section, select the Restricted option beside the Publish/Manage option to grant access to specific alert folders in the organization. The folders list appears. Select the folders you want to give the operator access to.
  7. Optionally, in the Account Folders section, select the Unrestricted option beside the Publish/Manage option to grant access to all account folders in the organization.
  8. Optionally, in the Account Folders section, select the Restricted option beside the Publish/Manage option to grant access to specific account folders in the organization. The folders list appears. Select the folders you want to give the operator access to.
  9. Click Save.
