Activate BlackBerry Access Secure Enterprise Browser
- If your computer has BlackBerry Access for Windows version 3.4 (or any previously installed beta version 150.0.1.8 and earlier), you must uninstall it before you install BlackBerry Access Secure Enterprise Browser. Make sure that you select the Also delete your browsing data check box before you click Uninstall. This removes the local files in C:\Users\<your_user_name>\AppData\Local\BlackBerryAccess.
If you do not delete the browsing data, installation and activation of the latest version will fail.
- Download BlackBerry Access Secure Enterprise Browser from the BlackBerry Access Downloads page and install it on your device.
- Locate the activation email from your administrator.
- Open BlackBerry Access.
- In the Email Address field, type the email address specified in the activation email.
- In the Activation Password field, type the activation password specified in the activation email, without hyphens.
- Click Submit.
- To log in to BlackBerry Access Secure Enterprise Browser, create a new password. This password is different from the activation password.
