Enable Skype for Business related attributes in the global catalog

Complete this task on the Domain controller in your environment.
  1. Open the Run command.
  2. Type schmmgmt.msc. Press Enter.
  3. In the left navigator window, click Active Directory Schema.
  4. In the middle window, double-click Attributes.
  5. Double-click Mail.
  6. Select the Replicate this attribute to the Global Catalog checkbox. Click OK.
  7. Repeat steps 5 and 6 for the following attributes:
    • msRTCSIP-PrimaryUserAddress
    • msRTCSIP-UserEnabled
    • msRTCSIP-DeploymentLocator
    • telephoneNumber
    • displayname
    • title
    • mobile
    • givenName
    • sn
    • sAMAccountName
