Verify your keys with a contact

Keep your contacts safe by setting up a key verification.
  1. In your contact profile, click Key Verification.
  2. Do one of the following:
    • To verify keys using the QR code, have the contact scan the QR code.
    • To verify keys using the text fingerprint, tap Text. Show the fingerprint to the contact or click The copy icon and send the fingerprint to them.
