BlackBerry Access Secure Enterprise Browser supports browser-only Progressive Web Apps (PWAs). Native applications such as BlackBerry Work are not supported. Users access modern, app-like web applications, such as Microsoft Outlook, directly through the secure browser without installing any additional software or native desktop applications. You must provide users with the PWA URL directly or include it in preset bookmarks. Users can then pin the PWA to the taskbar or install it. When the PWA URL is pinned to the taskbar, the app opens in its own browser tab. When the PWA is installed, it opens in its own dedicated application window instead of a browser tab, providing a more native desktop app experience. Since the application runs on the web, users automatically receive updates when they open the app.
